The protection of your personal data is important to me. As this is a private project, I aim to collect as little data as possible.

Data Collection & Processing

This website does not provide user accounts, contact forms, or newsletter subscriptions. No personal data is actively requested (e.g., via forms). However, anonymized technical and usage data may be processed for analytics and security purposes.

Self-Hosting & Server Log Files

This website is self-hosted on a private server located in Thailand. When you visit this website, the server automatically stores technical information in log files:

IP address (anonymized or masked where possible)
Date and time of access
Browser type and operating system
Referrer URL (the page you came from)

Legal Basis: The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Legitimate Interest) to ensure the technical operation and security of the self-hosted infrastructure. As the server is located in Thailand, data processing also complies with the Thai Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Content Delivery & Security (Cloudflare)

To bridge the technical requirements of a dynamic IP address and to protect the server from cyberattacks, I use Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA).

Traffic to this website is routed through a "Cloudflare Tunnel". Cloudflare may process log data and set technically necessary cookies (e.g., to identify bots) to ensure website security. Data transfer to the USA is secured by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

Web Analytics (Matomo)

This website uses Matomo, a privacy-friendly web analytics platform, which is self-hosted on the same server.

Matomo is configured in a privacy-focused way:

IP addresses are anonymized (IP masking)
No data is shared with third parties
Tracking is used solely for statistical analysis of website usage
